Oliver Trophy
Following the Ham Manor scratch team’s success in the 2017 Oliver Plate Final we have been drawn to play Worthing in the 2nd round this year (we received a bye in round 1). This is possibly the toughest draw in Sussex! The Oliver’s is a great opportunity to see the best players in the county compete against each other. Teams of 8 play 18 holes foursomes in the morning followed by 18 holes singles in the afternoon.
Even without Charlie Strickland, now representing the full England Squad (amazing!) we still have a strong squad of players representing Ham Manor.
See full update (link below) for squad list and fixture dates.
Sponsorship
The scratch team would like to thank Graham Butt Estate Agents, and in particular David Butt, for sponsoring the team once again in 2018, after successive years of sponsorship. The team have now been kitted out in new jumpers and shirts for the forthcoming season. See picture above of the kit being modelled by some of our team with David Butt (centre). Thank you also to Jon Nicholas, our Pro, for making the arrangements with Glenmuir.
