2017 just got even better for Charlie Strickland
Already this year, our Ham Manor teenage sensation Charlie Strickland has celebrated some incredible achievements. He’s won the Duncan Putter, the McEvoy Trophy, come 2nd out of 144 at the Lytham Trophy, and represented the England Boys Team at Home International matches and 2017 European Boys Championship. As if this wasn’t enough, another triumph has snuck in before 2018 arrives – he’s been named in the England Golf Squad for the upcoming 2017/18 training programme!
At 18, Charlie is the youngest member of the England Squad, but brings a heap of talent, focus and ambition to the table, cultivated here at Ham Manor. Charlie started as a Junior, and fell in love with Golf under the wing of our club professional.
Charlie is proof of the things that can be achieved from beginning as a Ham Manor junior, and you can find out more about our junior academy here. We wish Charlie continued success, and we’ll be cheering him on every step of the way!Read More on England Golf
