What a fantastic and successful day it was on for our Pamper Day!
So many wonderful people turned up to help, run stalls, offer massages and treatments and of course so many more to partake in the pampering and shopping there was on offer.
Our historic manor house was transformed into a treasure trove of fantastic goods from local businesses and treatment areas, there was even a car wash outside (manned by our male counterparts). Many of our visitors and members enjoyed tea and refreshments on the terrace overlooking the lake, made even more delicious by the home made cakes.
Over the course of the day we raised over £1,800 for St Barnabas Hospice at Home and some £650 for the Captains Special Projects Fund from the car wash and bottle raffle.
Lady Captain, Angie Tellyn said “Thanks to so many who helped to make it happen – the Team Pamper Day who worked so hard and the lovely models showing gorgeous clothes from Angmering boutique, Cloudberry (see photos below). Thanks too to all the therapists, stallholders and many others. It was a beautiful day and visitors were able to sit on the terrace with coffee or lunch and enjoy looking out over our 18th hole.”
