Angmering Croquet Club began life at Ham Manor in April 2008, and incorporates the experience of a number of seasoned players, one qualified coach and many members who are only too happy to encourage others.  It is a registered member of both the Croquet Assocation and the South East Croquet Federation.

It has a very sociable and flexible ethos which welcomes members to follow their own particular inclinations, whether they are for exercise and pleasure, or of a more competitive nature.  There are frequent internal fun matches as well as fixtures with other Clubs for those who wish to participate.

Initial equipment is unnecessary as newcomers are encouraged to make use of Club mallets in the first instance.  This provides opportunity to establish preferences.  Flat shoes are of course essential.

Lively and flourishing, the Club meets at 10.00am on Mondays and Fridays and 2.00pm on Wednesdays during the Spring and Summer months and 10.30am and 1.00pm respectively during the Autumn and Winter.  It is however possible to play every day of the week all through the year, weather permitting, and members are encouraged to take full advantage of their membership.

As Ham Manor Social Members as well as Croquet players, all the excellent events, facilities and superb catering within the Golf Clubhouse are additional and much enjoyed benefits and not least, the setting of the lawns within glorious surroundings.  The Club yearly membership fee is currently £87.00 per person, in addition to the current requisite Ham Manor Social Membership fee.
